Vacancies

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about international Christian education in Nepal.

Kathmandu International Study Center (KISC) is passionate about transforming education by being living witnesses of Christ’s love. We have over 70% missionary families and about 200 students represented at KISC School. Before reading further, please look at our Mission, Vision, Values and Passion Statement (MVVP) and consider if this is your heart.

We provide opportunities to work at our K-13 international school in Kathmandu, as well as, opportunities to train teachers in rural and urban regions of Nepal through KISC Education Quality Improvement Programme (EQUIP). Opportunities are also available for mentors and teacher trainers with master’s degree to work at the proposed KISC Transformational Education College (TEC), the first Christian college in Nepal.

Located in the Dhobighat area of Kathmandu, KISC School is looking for experienced teachers to join our 50+ full time teaching staff. Please apply if you have at least two years teaching experience (download our recruitment flier for more requirements). All full time teachers are required to stay a minimum of two years, but for shorter commitments, we could still consider offering part-time positions for English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers, Teaching Assistants (TA) and other EQUIP/admin positions. We can offer Nepali language classes through KISC, and all teaching staff will have 13 weeks holiday per year (school year starts in the beginning of August and runs through the end of June).

Our internationally-hired staff work as volunteers. They are not paid a salary, but are instead sent and supported by a Christian mission organization or by their home church. Benefit packages are reserved for those willing to commit to working for us for more than two years. Christian sending organizations can inquire about potential partnership opportunities.

If you would like to inquire about one of these positions, please consider sending your updated CV to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .np so we can start getting to know you better!
