Attendance will be taken at 8:20am during morning line-up.

If you know in advance that your child will be absent (e.g. dental appointment, home leave, a conference) please send a written note of explanation to your child's teacher.

If your child is unexpectedly absent you must phone the school between 8:00am and 8:20am so we know not to expect your child.

A register will be sent, immediately after the entry bell, to the Principals' Assistant who will contact the home of any child absent without prior notice. This is for the safety of your child.

PE lessons – if your child cannot do PE for any reason please send a written note of explanation, otherwise, unless a student is obviously ill, they will be expected to participate.

Long-Term Absences

If your family is going on home leave, furlough, or away for a conference, please inform the Reception Office in writing, using the form available there. If the time away is for one or more terms, a retainer fee will be charged.

If just the parents are going away, the school needs the parent's contact information and your child's caregiving plans for our emergency use. These must be given in writing to the Reception Office.
