IS GOD CALLING YOU ON AN ADVENTURE?

Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) is a Pre-K (reception) to Grade 12 (Year 13) English medium and teacher training institution situated in the spectacular land of Nepal, a land of adventure and legend. The towering Himalayas overlook our schools, providing stunning views of valleys where the Yeti of legend is reputed to live. The renowned Sherpas, who support trekkers and climbers as they face the challenges of the mountains and trails, are one of many different groups of Nepali people. Nepalis are now benefitting from the work of KISC in raising educational standards across the country. The modern capital city of Kathmandu is like any other international city but with its own unique charm and character. The people of Nepal are friendly and welcoming. Living in Nepal

Nepal is a small, landlocked Asian country nestled between India and China. Boasting large mountains and the highest peak in the World, Mount Everest, Nepal is a beautiful place. Despite being rich in natural resources, Nepal remains one of the least developed countries in the world. Its mountainous topography makes development work difficult and costly. The country ranks 142 out of 189 on the United Nations Human Development Index scale. The index measures a country’s achievements in terms of health, income, and education.
