  • Dear Community, We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new SMC Chair. Dr. Dan Munday has agreed to take on this very important role for the next two years, with a possibility of renewal. HDCS Executive Board confirmed his appointment at their recent meeting, and Dr. Munday will be stepping into his new role starting 11th November 2015. Dr. Munday has been in Nepal since 2013 and is working with INF as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine and Health Services Research. He also works as a physician in Patan Hospital. In addition, he serves as an advisor to Nepalese Association for Palliative Care (NAPCare). This is not Dr. Munday’s first mission to Nepal. He had previously served in Patan Hospital and in Tansen from 1988-1991. We are grateful to Dr. Munday for the time and effort he invested in preparing himself for this role, and we are excited to have him on board. KISC
