A message from the director
At KISC, we strive to live out our core values of love, grace, community, justice, and excellence. Our whole school life revolves around these values and each term we focus on a specific one so that we are conscious of them in our classes, in the playground, as we play sports, and as we live in Nepal.
For over 30 years KISC has been a strong community in Kathmandu. We have supported many families by providing their children with an excellent international standard education, which allows them to work, live and serve here in Nepal. KISC has developed from just a dozen students in a tutorial group to over 200 students in our Primary and Secondary schools. Our teacher training programme, EQUIP, currently works with around 20 schools in Kathmandu and in the rural and urban areas of Nepal. EQUIP teacher trainers work with leaders and teachers to develop quality education in their schools.
After six different locations over the past 30 years, our school finally has a permanent home in Thecho, Kathmandu, Nepal. We are very thankful for the wonderful buildings and resources available to us on our site.
