PRIMARY LIFE
The main focus of KISC Primary is to instill into the children a love for learning, whether it be in the classroom or through other extra curricular activities. These include:
Assembly – twice a week, which focuses on one of our term themes
Primary Picnic, term 1
Activity Week, term 2 – a week-long of afternoon Bible themed activities
Athletics Day, term 3
Dress Up, term 3 – on the 100th day of school
KidZone, term 4 – a talent show for the Primary students
World Book Day, term 4
Splash Day, term 4 – an afternoon of fun water activities to finish off the year
Grade 5 Graduation, term 4
2:20 CLUBS
Primary students love participating in their after-school clubs, which play an important part in our students’ overall development. Students engage in a variety of activities including gardening, dance, creative writing, stop motion animation, phonics and athletics.
Clubs are run for each grade on the following days, from 2:20 to 3:20pm
Pre-K to Grade 3 - Monday to Thursday
Grade 4 - Tuesday to Thursday
Grade 5 - Tuesday and Thursday
These extra curricular clubs give students the opportunity to exercise and cultivate learning outside of the classroom, as well as enabling them to collaborate, try a new skill, and build confidence.
