Earlier in September, KISC held its annual Swimming Gala, and what a fantastic day it was. There was excitement, determination, incredible team spirit and some seriously impressive swimming—and when the final results were announced, it was Dhaulagiri House celebrating as this year’s champions, narrowly beating back to back winners Annapurna in 2024 and 2025, by just five points!
As well as congratulating Dhaulagiri, we celebrate every student who competed, whether you were racing for a medal, challenging yourself to beat your personal best or simply taking the plunge and giving it a go. Very well done to to Josiah Karmacharya (Dhaulagiri), Savya Bhandari (Annapurna), Sambid Gautam (Annapurna), and Michael Carmody (Makalu), on achieving new school records in their respective age groups.
It's not just the students who make the gala what it is! A huge thank you to all the staff involved in making it happen, especially the PE Department; and thanks to everyone who cheered from the sidelines, and helped create such an incredible atmosphere. What a great community KISC is!
